Downloading
We always have the updated installer here, where we also have our changelog. TM is available for download in three different versions - one for Windows (officially supported), one for Linux and one for OSX.
Installing
Windows
Installation on Windows is quite straightforward - double-click on the executable, follow the installation wizard, and you are done.
Linux
To install, run these commands in the directory with the installer:
- chmod 755 TM-Setup-Linux.sh
- ./TM-Setup-Linux.sh
During the scripts execution, you will be asked if you want to download a JRE (Java Runtime Environment) if no suitable was found. You will also be asked where to install TM, and where to create a symlink (Symbolic link, like Windows shortcuts which are used to be able to type "TM" from any directory in the terminal)
Starting
Windows
Click on the TMbot shortcut on the desktop, or the executable file in the TMbot installation directory Arr, det tror jeg ikk
Linux
Write "TM" in the terminal, or use the desktop shortcut
Logging in
When you start TMbot for the first time, you will need to create a profile (using your Travian account credentials).
Instructions
- The Profile Controls are used to either select, load, delete or create a profile.
- When you create a new profile, you will need to enter the Travian Account details here. You can also modify an existing profile.
Proxy Settings
As some users go through a Proxy, you can enter your proxy details under Options->Proxy. Simply enter the proxy details, and make sure you have enabled the Proxy checkbox.
Missing server
If you can not find the server you play on, please send us a message through our HelpDesk.
Change Language
TM will automatically change to the language used on your computer. To change language, you need to use the Language menu. If TM is not yet translated into your language, you need to send us a message through the HelpDesk
Sitter
If you are a sitter for the specified account, you need to enable sitter mode by enabling the "Sitter Account" checkbox. This will alter TM's behaviour to comply with Travian's regulations around sitter accounts.
