Options
From TMbot-Wiki
TM is quite configurable, and you may define different configurations for each of your village. There are two kinds of main options - the account-wide, and the village-wide. The account-wide options generally target some common settings, like online times, notifications, proxy and so on, while the village options include aggressiveness settings, troop amounts and unit training limits.

General Options
The general options are a collection of account-wide settings which you may access through the menu by clicking: Options -> Options.
- These buttons control some general settings:
- Hide TMbot in the system tray when closed, instead of shutting it down
- Show System-Tray balloons, which notifies you of TM actions, like reports or built troops
- Automatic logout's, which are use to decrease the amount of time TM is online (Acts more human)
- Play warn sound on attacks - will make a system sound defined by the OS when attacked
- Same as above, but when the food is low
- If the account is a sitter, the Sitter Account option need to be enabled
- The Read IGM's will automatically read your IGM's and add them to the IGM tab in TM.
- TM tries to parse the in-game date format automatically. If it fails, you may need to change this option to have TM working correctly.
- See Remote Control (Currently disabled)
- The Online-time option can be used to only be online certain hours, which can in combination with another TM instance be used to have different IP's at regular intervals.
- Will reset the Settings to their defaults.
Village Options
The village options include settings that affects farming and other items specific to each village. Examples include troop amounts, scouting, and celebrations (parties). These options can be accessed from the Menu>Options>Options-Villages drop down menu, or from farming tab of each village, by clicking the icon in the middle that looks like a house with a red roof.
Farm Engine
The options 1-4 affects the behavior of the FarmEngine, which is the base component of the AutoFarm feature.
Aggressiveness
This is the most important option within the TMbot FarmEngine. The slider defines how aggressive or defensive TMbot is for the village selected. The more aggressive, THE MORE TROOPS WILL BE LOST, and the more defensive, the less attacks will be sent, since TM will be more careful about losing troops. This is accomplished by increasing or decreasing the number of reports which are read by TMbot. The middle is the standard FarmEngine setting, which is highly recommended for most users. Advanced users will want to adjust this setting gradually to find the correct setting for their villages.
Attack waves
- The Minimum defines the lowest number of troops which will be sent to a farm
- The Maximum defines the highest number of troops which will be sent by TM
- The Maximum 100% is the number of troops which will be sent if a full farm is found
- The "Auto" button causes TM to decided the above values automatically, based on the most successful unit groups over the last few hours.
- EXAMPLE PICTURE: This sample TM configuration will never send more than 200 troops to farms, but never less than 100. However, to full farms, a max of 300 units will be sent.
Scouts
- "Scouts in village" sets the amount of scouts which will be kept in the village at all times, and not used for automatic farming.
- The min/max scouts options sets the amount of scouts TM will send per wave.
- The "Scouts: Building" option defines if TM should scout for buildings or resources (It is highly reccomend that you leave this setting unchecked, as the FarmEngine needs resource information to function correctly).
Prisoners
These options are used to make TM free prisoners automatically. You can specify them highest amount of troops to send when freeing prisoners, as well as a max time limit to free them.
Attack/Defense
- Clean farms: Makes farms which have not been visited for a specified amount of time to be treated as a risk farm and cleaned. This will also attack first-time farms with infantry, and makes other small changes in FarmEngine logic. (This option can cause higher troop loses! You have been warned!)
- Evade attacks automatically will when attacked move the troops to another village temporarily. If you specify coordinates for the village to avoid to, make sure that the village is valid.
- The risk range option will cause TM to send the maximum amount of troop if it has not been visited for this amount of hours.
Attack Reserve
If you play on T3.6 servers, there is an additional option called "Attack Reserve". since T3.6 features a limit on the amount of troop movements a village can have, you may select how many troop movements you want to be unused by TM. This is useful if you want to reserve a spot to dodge incoming attacks.
Buildings
AutoUpgrade
The automatic upgrade options upgrade on three different conditions (assuming the automatic upgrade of that building is activated):
- TM has nothing to build, and it has enough stock for the resource fields (Auto-upgrade resources)
- The warehouse/granary is full (Auto-upgrade warehouse/granary)
- The Max Unit Queue limit has been reached (Auto-upgrade barracks/stable/workshop)
- The crop is negative. (Auto-upgrade Cropland)
- Auto-build Rally point:
- T3.5: Rebuild if destroy
- T3.6: Expand if all attack slots are used
AutoParty
The two Auto-Celebration options will cause TM to check at regular intervals to see if it can afford a celebration, and will do the biggest possible.

Resource Distribution
The resource distribution makes it possible to balance out the usage of the resources among the different options. It can be found at the top of the Building or Troop tabs of each village.
The feature is quite simple, and requires minimal configuration. The checkbox at the top enables/disables the feature. You then need to select what amounts of resources you want to spend on each option. To the right, you can see how much resources that is available to be spent on that option, based on what is currently available in the village. Note that as you increase or decrease each slider, it affects the other sliders in such a way that they always total 100%.
Language
TM normally uses the language that your system is set to. However, you can manually set the language through the "Language" menu if so desired.
Browser Engine
TM can use two different browser engines - it either uses Internet Explorer (Windows Only) or it can use Firefox. This mainly affects the Useragent which it will use, and is there to make it possible to have the same user agent as you have in your real browser. It is recommended you keep your real browser and this setting the same, so that it is invisible to the multihunters.
